Description

The Masahiro Maruyama MM-0031 col. 7 Yellow is a unisex optical frame that transforms asymmetry into a true design element. It is part of the ERASE collection, developed around the idea of erasing some of the conventional lines that define the structure of a pair of glasses and replacing them with new graphic marks. The result perfectly interprets the "Unfinished Art" concept that characterizes the Japanese designer's work.

The pure titanium front features two intentionally different geometries: one side appears softer and more rounded, while the other is crossed by a thin metallic line that extends beyond the lens profile. The Yellow coloring further accentuates this construction, creating a contrast between the technical precision of the metal and an intense, contemporary shade.

The temples and tips also participate in the model's interplay of irregularity. The temples are crafted from β-titanium, while the acetate tips introduce slight transparencies with orange hues, clearly visible in the images. Each element seems to follow an autonomous direction, yet the ensemble maintains a carefully studied balance: viewed from the front or the side, the glasses continuously change expression.

The dimensions are 51-21-140 mm and the frame is Made in Japan. The Masahiro Maruyama MM-0031 Yellow is therefore much more than just a colorful frame: it is eyewear with an almost architectural language, designed for those seeking Japanese design, the lightness of titanium, and unconventional shapes, without compromising on an extremely refined construction.
