The Masahiro Maruyama MM-0048 col. 2 is a unisex optical frame from the BROKEN collection, developed around the idea of reconstructing something that has lost its original perfection. The irregular shapes recall fragments that, once reassembled, generate a new geometry: a particularly effective interpretation of the "Unfinished Art" concept that characterizes Masahiro Maruyama's work.

The front has a wide, square shape, but deliberately avoids any conventional symmetry. The black profile surrounding the lenses is joined by a second metal structure in gold and silver tones, visible especially along the upper and lower edges. Small elements seem to interrupt and then rejoin the frame, creating the impression of an object that has been deconstructed and subsequently rebuilt.

The construction combines acetate and pure titanium in the front, while the temples use β-titanium and acetate. The official colorway is indicated by the brand as No. 2 Black / Black – Gold – Silver: black visually dominates the frame, while gold and silver emerge as subtle details, making the model sophisticated without diminishing its experimental character.

The dimensions are 50-24-140 mm and the frame is Made in Japan. 2. Bridge - Distance between the lenses (usually between 15 and 25). The higher the number, the greater the distance.
