The Masahiro Maruyama MM-0067 col. 1 Black is a unisex optical frame from the SCULPT collection, inspired by the creative process of sculpture: the marks left by a chisel on stone, the spaces between masses of clay, and the structures used during the crafting process become design elements. It is one of the most tactile interpretations of the Japanese designer's "Unfinished Art" concept.

The front features a compact, round shape, far from the regularity of the classic pantos. The black acetate is crafted with a deliberately irregular and faceted profile: some portions of the rim appear hollowed out or removed, creating surfaces that change appearance depending on the angle of the light. These details are intentionally designed to evoke the traces left during a sculptural process.

The No.1 Black colorway makes the interplay between polished surfaces and more sculpted areas particularly evident. The construction is entirely in acetate, including the temples, maintaining a strong visual presence despite using a relatively modest caliber.
